Brief description: A ' tour of the Gompas ' is high on most people’s lists. The monasteries mentioned are renowned ones in Ladakh. Pangong Lake is about 145 kms long and 6-7 kms wide at its broadest. It is brackish lake. You can see some snow in early June while crossing over through Changla pass.

Brief description: The monasteries mentioned are renowned ones in Ladakh. Khardongla pass is the highest motarable pass of the world ie; 5602 mts. Pangong lake is 150 Kms. Long 4 Kms. Wide, stretches from the north-east of Ladakh across the border into Tibet. The lake has no outlet so the water has high salt and mineral content. Because of this the lake cannot support aquatic life, hence it is distinctive.

- Day3: After breakfast start around 9AM . Visit Hundar & Diskit villages. You can hike from Hundar to Diskit or do a Camel ride on double hump bacterian camel. Drive back to Leh on way visit Shanti Stupa. Over night at hotel.

- Day4: After visiting Diskit, Hundar drive back to Leh. Over night at hotel. (3 hour trek from Hundar to Diskit through sand dunes)
- Day5: After break fast around 7 AM drive to Yangthang. Start trek along with guide towards Hemis-Shukpachan. Nice village and landscape. 3 to 4 hours trek. Camp at Hemis-Shukpachan.
- Day6: Drive back to Leh after break fast. On the way see Magnetic Hill, Gurdawara Pather Sahib.
